Project Description
Based on the People’s Grocery in Oakland, CA, Growing for CHANGE works to dissolve social barriers between privileged and disadvantaged communities in Charlottesville, VA. We use design, co- learning, and gardening practices to tackle the limited space and land ownership posed by low- income subsidized housing, and work to inspire residents, students, and faculty to create relationships while working across differences.
