Leadership Vision
I believe leadership is about having the courage to be both fully present with what is, and to dream of what is possible. To own our power to act, individually and collectively, and to continue to show up in the face of challenges. To me, leadership is about the integrity and humbleness to start with ourselves, with all the compassion for others and oneself this requires when we find ourselves in broken systems. I seek to embody my values as much as possible, bring my contribution and support others to bring theirs, so that together we may co-create the world we truly want to live in.
Project Description
Our systems and the outcomes they create are threatening the very survival of our species on this planet. Existing strategies to address the challenges have allowed for progress, but we are not on track to stop global warming, biodiversity loss, or the increase of economic inequality. To address these complex challenges, we urgently need approaches that do not only look at the symptoms but address root causes. This paradigm shift requires cross-sector collaboration, overcoming polarisation, including both decision-makers and marginalised voices, and developing holistic solutions. This is why, in 2017, I co-founded collaboratio helvetica: an initiative aimed at catalysing systemic change towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With our partners, we convene actors from all sectors in Social Innovation Laboratories around the complex challenges contained in the Agenda 2030 to co-create solutions, raise and distribute funding, and build the needed capacity for transformation. It is a pioneering collective action project focused on Switzerland, contributing to the expansion of global knowledge and practice of systems change strategies.
