My entire professional career and life is devoted towards creatively leveraging digital technologies for innovating the access and quality of SRHR and mental healthcare products and services; for all women and LGBTQIA+ youth, particularly those in rural and marginalized communities of the Global South.
Project Description
The Youth For Domestic Mental Health Campaign aims to build a sustainable network of educated and inspired community stakeholders for uprooting Domestic Violence against women and children and passing a mental health national strategy in the Domestic Violence Policy implementation for thousands of rural villages and refugee communities across Iraq, then southern India. We have empowered more than 4360+ youth and women on the ground and 530+ others online in 52 marginalized communities of 3 countries so far; through 34+ educational campaigns and trainings, a certified community-based research program, and 2 national policy reformation campaigns; on Domestic Violence and the Digital Mental Health inclusion of vulnerable communities nationwide. In the Diana award-winning Domestic Violence (DV) campaign, we meaningfully educated and inspired over 600+ diverse young leaders, decision makers, religious leaders, civil society organizations, and rural women and girls; as sustainable activists for elimination of DV and honorable killing of women and LGBTQI+ young people in Iraq.
