Leadership Vision
My vision is to create a world where everyone is belonged to somewhere, someone, something. It is a world where we realize we are branches of a vibrant tree called humanity, steering in all directions, but deeply rooted in Mother Earth. To get there, I hope to walk my path with compassion, courage, reverence, and humor.
Project Description
Connecting Vietnam is a pilgrimage of reconciliation and liberation from the historical trauma of the Vietnam War. It aims to expose Vietnamese youths to the full-scale history of division, atrocities and nonviolence resistance efforts of 1945-1980s while grounding the learning of the past in oral history and contemplative practices. This pilgrimage aims to help Vietnamese youths to confront the living history of the war toward healing, and empower them to be historical agents of the present.
