Project Description

Pad 4 All is an educational campaign by AFFCA - Association des Filles et Femmes Camerounaises Actives - that aims to provide support to females through the distribution of reusable sanitary pads and the training to Income Generating Activities. Paired with the sensitization on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender Based Violence among others, this movement is intended to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of young females in Yaoundé and its surroundings, and hopefully beyond in the long run. Pad 4 All was conceived with the objective to allow young girls and women to cope through their menses with dignity when they cannot afford protections, as well as to educate populations, especially the youth, in the hopes to indirectly provide for females a safer and more comfortable place to live in.
