Leadership Vision
As Babasaheb Ambedkar remarked, leadership that springs from hero-worship has no place in today's world, and must be replaced with a leadership that provides space, opportunity, and conditions for a multitude of organic intellectuals and leaders to emerge. An environment of compassion, respect, and kindness is absolutely essential to that. Because only through this, we can have a meaningful leadership that enables the propagation of knowledge, ideas, and values. The common ideals of fairness, social justice, and equity have to be pursued by following the path of compassion, respect, and kindness.
Project Description
The relentless march of digital technologies is largely governed by older status quo, and, if we're not careful, we face a risk of widening the existing socio-economic inequities as the means to control, manipulate, and exploit become more varying and widespread. Subsequently, we also lose out on the opportunities that are presented by these technologies to do good for the society and the earth as a whole. It's only by democratising the knowledge and raising awareness among all that we can hope to yield these unprecedented powerful tools for the benefit of everyone. My project, Emerging Technologies for Public Good, aims to conduct a series of training workshops, sessions, and awareness campaigns regarding these technologies and relevant subjects to those places and communities who are at a higher chance of missing out on them due to lack of access and systemic blockages.
