Project Description
The Counter Narrative Institute aims to advance Young People of Color by guiding them to take ownership of their story and to activate them to use their counter-narratives toward building a more equitable, just, and inclusive community. In this institute counter-storytelling for healing, activism, and empathy building. We see counter-storytelling as a useful strategy for building social change and want to equip more young people of color to learn about its benefits and for them to start sharing their own counter narratives in creative ways.
