Project Description
Tree Adoption Uganda seeks to transform environmental conservation activities into avenues for empowering young people and turning them into entrepreneurs. my team and I will jointly address youth unemployment and climate change by offering basic start-up business training, 3-year mentorship and free consultation to youth, and help in raising start-up capital to enable them to create businesses in the form of tree nurseries, which are then sold to companies to reduce their carbon footprint. The youth use the income to invest in themselves and their families.
