Leadership Vision
Truthfully, it can get complicated with political concerns of other people. I don’t have political views on this matter and helping children is not a political act. They are, without exception of any nation, the world’s future and my only intention is to cherish their wellbeing with the only way I know.
Project Description
Kaleidoscope is a social school for Syrian refugee children in Istanbul, a place in which they can socialize and relearn how to be a child free of concerns older than their age is needed. I plan to build upon the existing relationships between temporary education centers and the Syrian community. The people working with them will be volunteering university students.Such place would free them from isolation through play and guidance; inspire their imagination to color our futures. Help them with their inner challenges and let them find the strength to be their own person. I believe if we can reach children at an early age, we can prevent their desperation of disconnectedness and unresolved trauma to grow into fury that could ignite future disputes on the trail of absolute peace.
