Project Description
At Thinkerbell Labs, we are working toward improving learning outcomes for the visually impaired. Braille literacy rates are abysmal across the world and is under 1% in India. The major cause for this is the existing pedagogy of braille learning which hasn't changed in over a 100 years, and the lack of tech intervention in this area. We have developed the world's first braille literacy tech ecosystem to help the visually impaired to learn on their own, and for teachers to be able to supervise multiple children learning braille at the same time. Via our intervention, Annie Braille Smart Class, our mission is to increase braille literacy rates across the world, while simultaneously making education more inclusive.
