I want to seek the truth together and live by what we find. I want to create spaces that allow us to see with eyes unclouded by hate or misunderstanding. I want to bring attention to the way in which we accomplish our goals, not only to the goals themselves.
Project Description
At sea, we confront many of the same challenges facing our planetary community: to share limited resources, to cultivate peripheral vision, and to inter-be with the more-than-human world. The 36-foot sailboat (R/V Lōkahi) that my husband and I operate enables impact-focused research while also using fieldwork as an opportunity to build community across stakeholders. We bring low-carbon approaches to marine conservation, with a focus on empowering scalable and community-led systems for climate resilience and adaptation.
