In my commitment to living abundantly out of the hope for the peaceful world that I desire, I will embody honesty, vulnerability, respect, compassion, positivity, empathetic listening and reconciliation. I will respect, acknowledge and continually access all of my intersecting identities, boundaries and capabilities. I will use a critical and reflective understanding of self, combined with attention to community needs, as a basis for continual advocacy for peace, justice and reconciliation.
Project Description
The FAIRR Project will create spaces for lawmakers, activists and community leaders to come together to support community initiatives that protect against LGBT identity-based discrimination in housing and employment while securing the rights of religious communities. This project will also engage a diverse group of community leaders and stakeholder to find “common ground” solutions that are inclusive and effective. This project focuses on building a coalition between lawmakers, the business sector, the faith community, local youth and LGBT advocates.
