Project Description
“Crosswalk: Safer Schools to Compassionate Neighborhoods” aims to mainstream the needs of children as equal citizen of their city through a safe and democratized access to their schools, regardless of ethnic origin, religion, income, gender or disability. The mission is to humanize child centered urban spaces and promote thought leadership and change agents in the communities. The city through a child’s perspective is very different and the purpose is to cultivate empathetic listening and compassion from community to collaborate, co-create and promote safety through place making and urban design in areas around schools.
